Manaus to Fort Lauderdale

The port of Manaus, deep in the Amazon rainforest, is the starting point for our South American and Caribbean adventure. We first call at Parintins, known for its spectacular summer festival, the second largest in Brazil after the Rio Carnival. Then it’s time to relax on the lovely beaches of Alter do Chão before we bid a fond farewell to Brazil and wend our way to the Caribbean. After two relaxing days at sea, we visit Devil’s Island, a fascinating former penal colony in French Guiana, and then hop between a sunny trio of enchanting islands: Barbados, Antigua, and Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. The last two sea days take us to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where our journey ends.
