Buzzy Bridgetown in Barbados is the starting point for our cruise from the Caribbean to the Big Apple. The soaring twin volcanic cones, the Pitons, signal we are approaching Saint Lucia, where we will overnight at Castries. St. John’s, Antigua, comes next – don't miss the carefully preserved Georgian dockyard that tended Admiral Nelson’s ships. Time to beach-bar hop in Jost Van Dyke, in the British Virgin Islands, before discovering more about the Dominican Republic in the museum at Samana. White sands melt into turquoise seas at Grand Turk on Turks and Caicos, where there’s time to wiggle your toes in the surf or head out snorkeling, before spending two relaxing days sailing to our final port, New York City.
