This transatlantic voyage from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale on the coast of Florida begins with two stops in Spain. First, Alicante, for a stroll in the shade of palm trees along La Explanada de España promenade, then the seaside resort of Motril, a gateway to Granada and its Moorish treasures. Next, we spend two days at sea embracing the open ocean before we arrive in The Azores, first at Ponta Delgada, where the attractions include a pineapple plantation, and then Horta, with its colorful murals painted by visiting sailors. Three more relaxing days at sea take us to the Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda, where we will stop overnight. Dip into the island’s historic link with the British, explore the Crystal Caves, and spend a while on the pink-sand beaches. Two more days at sea bring us to our journey’s end in lively Fort Lauderdale.
