Another day on the ocean takes us to the French side of St. Martin, where the lively open-air market is a must-see. At St. John’s in Antigua, head off to see the Georgian dockyard that was once home to Admiral Nelson’s fleet, and in Basseterre, St Kitts, explore the ruins of 17th-century Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park. Sailing onwards, we reach the pretty-pastel streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico’s lively capital, renowned for its Spanish colonial buildings and exciting culinary scene. One last relaxing day at sea takes us to the Bahamas and the bustling port of Nassau, to see beautiful beaches and a trio of historic forts. Our voyage concludes where it started, in the vibrant city of Fort Lauderdale.
