Callao (Lima) to Papeete (Tahiti)

Sail away from the boulevards of Lima and relax into four days at sea. We next sight land at Hanga Roa, Easter Island, one of the most remote inhabited places on Earth, which we have two days to explore, including witnessing first-hand the monumental, ancient statues of human forms, the moai. Two more days at sea bring us to Adamstown, Pitcairn, where many of the residents descend from the 18th-century mutineers of the HMS Bounty, and a further two sea days precedes an island-hopping adventure around French Polynesia. See the pink sands of Fakarava in the Tuamotu Islands, purchase local pearls in Rangiroa, and discover the heavenly backwater of Huahine. Our voyage concludes in Papeete, Tahiti, where you could follow in the footsteps of the French artist Paul Gauguin.
